About the Role
Associate – Insurance + Reinsurance Litigation (4-7 years)
Our client, an AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate to join their Insurance + Reinsurance Litigation practice group. This opportunity is available in multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, particularly in professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
What the role entails:
Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and managing all facets of discovery and discovery motion practice.
Taking depositions and handling court appearances (commensurate with experience).
Experience with business development, client management, and independent case management is preferred.

Salary: $250,000 - $370,000 (based on relevant experience).
Requirements
4-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
Strong experience in drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and managing all aspects of discovery and discovery motion practice.
Experience conducting depositions and handling court appearances (commensurate with experience).
Business development, client management, and independent case management experience preferred.
Excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing ability.
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
Highly motivated, with a passion for innovative thinking and problem-solving in complex litigation matters.
