About the Role
Our client is seeking an associate to join their Energy Transactional practice group, with opportunities available in their Atlanta, New York, or Washington D.C. offices. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of project finance and development experience, including exposure to tax equity and/or debt financing, particularly within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Strong drafting and negotiating skills are essential, along with the ability to independently manage various components of deals.
This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in a national renewable energy project finance and development practice, providing involvement in sophisticated and impactful matters. Deal teams are structured to allow associates to take on greater responsibilities and engage in direct partner and client interactions. The team is made up of individuals who are collaborative, supportive, and committed to providing associates with opportunities for growth and professional development throughout their careers.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state in which they practice.
Salary: $275,000 - $370,000, depending on experience
Locations: Atlanta, New York, or Washington D.C.
Requirements
4 to 7 years of project finance and development experience
Experience with tax equity and/or debt financing
Background in renewable energy and/or infrastructure projects is highly preferred
Strong drafting and negotiating skills
Ability to independently manage components of deals
Team player with excellent collaboration skills
Must be licensed and in good standing in the state where practicing
