A global financial services firm and one of the largest non-bank Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs) worldwide, providing execution, clearing, and risk management solutions across financial and commodity markets.

The firm is building out its North America Fixed Income Group (FIG), focused on financial institutions managing interest rate exposure across their balance sheets.
The Mandate
​This role is responsible for building and leading the Fixed Income Group across North America, with direct accountability for revenue generation, client development, and team build-out.
​
You will define the commercial strategy, originate key relationships, and establish a high-performing sales team alongside your own production.

Key Responsibilities

Build and lead the FIG sales effort across North America

Originate and develop senior relationships within financial institutions

Drive personal revenue while establishing a broader production engine

Hire, mentor, and lead a team of sales professionals, setting expectations around performance and accountability

Engage clients on balance sheet exposure and risk considerations

Partner with trading and structuring teams to deliver solutions

Client Engagement and Advisory
A core part of the role is engaging financial institutions that manage fixed income assets and liabilities and translating balance sheet exposure into actionable hedging strategies.
You will work directly with clients to assess interest rate risk and collaborate internally to deliver solutions aligned to their positioning.
Solutions are primarily focused on interest rate risk, leveraging a mix of swaps, futures, and other derivatives as appropriate to the client’s balance sheet and objectives.
This role combines senior client dialogue, risk-focused advisory, and revenue generation.

What You Bring

Managing Director with a proven track record of origination and revenue generation

Established relationships within financial institutions, particularly regional banks and mortgage clients

Strong understanding of interest rate products, including swaps and futures
-
Experience building or scaling a business, desk, or coverage effort

Commercial mindset with the ability to convert client needs into executable opportunities
