About the Role

The Business Development Manager will lead origination and client engagement for the firm’s U.S. renewable energy tax credit transfer platform. This high-impact sales role is central to scaling the platform's presence and connecting tax credit supply with institutional and corporate buyers. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in renewable energy tax equity, a well-established client network, and a passion for accelerating the clean energy transition through financial innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and develop new business within the renewable energy transferable tax credit space

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across banks, hedge funds, trading boutiques, and institutional investors

  • Provide clients with market intelligence, pricing guidance, and strategic insights

  • Lead deal execution and negotiations, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders including Technology and Operations

  • Support client onboarding and ensure seamless client engagement throughout the lifecycle

  • Drive revenue growth through thoughtful product positioning and market analysis

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, etc.)

  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and adhere to internal policies and risk frameworks

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 7 years of experience originating renewable energy tax equity transactions

  • Proven track record closing complex renewable energy tax equity deals

  • Existing client network within financial institutions and energy markets

  • Strong analytical and market research skills

  • In-depth knowledge of financial services markets and regulatory frameworks

  • Experience with energy products and trading environments

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Compensation

Base Salary: $200,000 – $250,000/year

Eligible for discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits in 2025
