ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Spark Talent is partnering with a growing performance marketing agency to find an experienced people leader who can guide the company’s HR strategy while remaining closely involved in day-to-day execution.
This person will lead the full people function, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee development, workforce planning, compliance, and the employee lifecycle.
The right candidate will be both strategic and hands-on—someone who can create scalable programs, improve existing processes, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership and managers across the organization.
About the Role
Partner with senior leaders to align people priorities with the company’s business and growth plans. Evaluate organizational needs and develop practical HR strategies that support performance, retention, and long-term growth. Advise managers on employee relations, team effectiveness, organizational structure, and staffing decisions, while leading and developing team members who support HR and recruiting.
Key responsibilities
Performance & Talent Management
Own the performance review process, coach managers on feedback and performance concerns, and create consistent standards for evaluating and developing employees.
Recruiting & Workforce Planning
Oversee recruiting across the organization, partner with leadership on hiring priorities, and personally lead searches for senior and business-critical roles.
HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits
Manage HR systems and processes, including employee records, compensation, benefits, job documentation, regulatory compliance, and the company’s HRIS platform.
Employee Experience & Development
Oversee onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding while developing practical training and professional development programs that support employee growth and advancement.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least three years in a senior leadership or head-of-function role.
People-management experience and direct responsibility for an HRIS platform.
Strong knowledge of performance management, recruiting, benefits, employment law, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Experience building scalable HR and recruiting processes in a growing organization.
Strong judgment, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
