VP / Director / Executive Director | Fixed Income Group
Rates & Derivatives Sales

New York, NY, USA

Full - Time

About the Company

A global financial platform and one of the largest non-bank FCMs, with established capabilities across execution, clearing, and derivatives. The firm is well-capitalized and actively investing in expanding its U.S. rates business.

As part of this growth, the firm is building out its Fixed Income Group (FIG) focused on delivering advisory-led interest rate hedging solutions to institutional clients across North America.

About the Role

The firm is seeking from Vice President to Executive Director to join its Fixed Income Group (FIG), focused on originating and developing relationships with regional banks and mortgage-related institutions.

This is not a traditional fixed income or clearing sales role. This is a front-office, revenue-generating producer role with a clear mandate to originate new business.

The firm is hiring VP through Executive Director-level professionals to help build and grow a Fixed Income Group focused on regional banks and mortgage-related institutions.

You are expected to hunt, originate, and win new client relationships.

The position sits at the intersection of institutional sales, derivatives, and advisory, working directly with clients to assess balance sheet exposure and deliver hedging solutions.

What You’ll Do
• Originate new business across regional banks and mortgage-related institutions
• Build and grow a portfolio of revenue-generating client relationships
• Engage clients on balance sheet exposure, ALM, and interest rate risk
• Design and deliver hedging strategies using swaps, Treasury futures, SOFR products, and related derivatives
• Convert market insights into actionable, revenue-producing opportunities
• Partner with trading, structuring, and clearing teams to execute client strategies
• Play a key role in building and scaling the FIG platform in North America

Why This Role
• Direct revenue ownership with no ambiguity around expectations
• Opportunity to build a business within a well-capitalized global platform
• Advisory-led approach, not product-driven selling
• High visibility and impact as part of a growing FIG build

Requirements

  • Experience covering financial institutions, specifically regional banks, mortgage companies, or similar clients

  • Background in interest rate derivatives, including swaps, futures, and related hedging instruments

  • Ability to engage clients on balance sheet risk and ALM-driven hedging strategies

  • Proven track record of originating and managing institutional client relationships

  • Strong understanding of fixed income markets and interest rate dynamics

  • Experience working cross-functionally with trading, structuring, and risk teams

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to a growing platform
