About the Role
This position is seeking a Land Use and Zoning Associate with a minimum of two years of experience in land use, zoning, and real estate transactional work. The ideal candidate will handle both land use and zoning matters as well as real estate transactions, with a focus on New Jersey regulations. While experience in land use litigation is a plus, it is not required.
The role involves significant client interaction, including regular communication with government officials, external parties, and stakeholders. Public speaking and presenting before planning and zoning boards, as well as local, county, and regional governing authorities, will also be key aspects of the role.
The successful candidate will possess high emotional intelligence, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead meetings with diverse stakeholders. Strong writing and speaking skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate concisely.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in New Jersey, with excellent academic credentials.
Compensation: $135,000 - $190,000, based on relevant years of experience
Requirements
Minimum of two years of experience in land use and zoning and real estate transactional work.

Comfortable with frequent client contact, engaging with government officials, and interacting with external parties.
